Arrowdoodle · Privacy Policy
Effective: 2026-07-01 · Last updated: 2026-07-07
This Privacy Policy explains how Arrowdoodle (the “App”) collects, uses, and protects information. By using the App you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service. We follow data minimization: the App requires no sign-in and does not collect information that directly identifies you.
1. Information We Collect
- Anonymous usage data (via Google Firebase Analytics): events such as app opens, sessions, level start/complete, and key gameplay actions, plus app version, device model & OS version, coarse region, and language. Used to understand feature usage and improve the experience.
- Crash diagnostics (via Google Firebase Crashlytics): crash stack traces and device state, to find and fix issues.
- Device identifier (CUID): the App generates and stores a random 40-character hexadecimal identifier on your device (not derived from hardware IDs, not the IDFA), used to de-duplicate and aggregate the anonymous statistics per device. It is stored on-device (incl. Keychain) and contains no personal information.
- On-device save: your level progress and gallery collection are stored on this device (system preferences) and are not uploaded.
- Advertising & attribution data (where the App shows ads — currently the Android version; see Section 3): device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / GAID; on iOS the IDFA only after you allow tracking via the system ATT prompt), IP address, coarse location, device information, and ad interaction data — collected by the advertising and attribution SDKs listed in Section 3 to serve ads, control frequency, measure performance, and attribute installs.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
- No name, email, phone, contacts, photos, or precise location.
- No data that directly identifies you; the App requires no account or sign-in.
- We never sell your personal data.
3. Advertising
The App is free and supported by ads. The Android version shows rewarded ads (optional — watch an ad to get hints or revive) and interstitial ads (between levels) through AppLovin MAX and its mediated ad networks. The iOS version currently contains no ads; if ads are added there, this policy applies likewise (with tracking only after ATT consent).
- Ad networks: AppLovin (privacy), Google AdMob (privacy), Liftoff/Vungle (privacy), Unity Ads (privacy), Mintegral (privacy).
- Attribution: AppsFlyer (privacy) and Meta/Facebook SDK (privacy) receive install and aggregate ad-revenue events to measure ad campaigns.
- Consent: in regions where required (e.g. EEA/UK), a consent form (Google UMP) is shown before ads; without consent, ads are non-personalized. On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in system Settings → Privacy → Ads.
4. How Information Is Used
- To analyze feature usage, level difficulty, and retention to improve gameplay.
- To detect and fix crashes and bugs.
- To serve and measure ads and attribute installs (see Section 3).
- Analytics is used in aggregate form — never to identify an individual.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses Google Firebase (Analytics, Remote Config & Crashlytics; privacy) for the anonymous analytics above, and the advertising / attribution SDKs listed in Section 3 where ads are shown.
6. Storage & Retention
- On-device save and the device identifier are stored on your device; deleting the App erases the save (the Keychain identifier may persist across reinstalls to keep statistics de-duplication stable).
- Anonymous analytics/crash data is retained by Firebase on Google servers per its default retention.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is a general-audience product and is not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App requires no sign-in and collects no personally identifying information; users who have not given (or cannot give) ads consent receive only non-personalized ads. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at the email below and we will delete it.
8. Your Choices & Rights
- Android: reset or delete your Advertising ID in system Settings → Privacy → Ads; where the consent form applies, you can decline personalized ads.
- iOS: control tracking permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (applies if/when the iOS version shows ads).
- Deleting the App clears the on-device save.
- For any data question, access or deletion request, contact us below.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the “Last updated” date; material changes will be noted in-app or on the store page.
